Hello Ladies!! I’ve survived girls camp! It was so much fun. BUT very cold and wet! Now I’m sick. That’s ok, though. I heard we had a great turnout last week. Because we did, I want to have a show ‘n’ tell tomorrow during our “Open Sew.” So bring your beach bag, machine cover, or a finished project to share (please 1 or 2 items), AND if you didn’t get to finish your bag or machine cover, come tomorrow and we’ll help you finish it. Those that bring their show ‘n’ tell get entered into a drawing, so don’t forget. Remember, “Open Sew” is to help you finish your unfinished projects. You can bring anything that needs to be finished whether you need help or not, so come and let’s have fun. I love to see what people are working on.

Also ladies, we have been asked many times if we teach beginning sewing. Well, we are going to. Come learn how to Sew Basic 101 with Richard (one of the owners) tomorrow night. We will be teaching it during “Open Sew” upstairs. It’s part of our SewWhatever club, so the cost is still $8. Everyone is welcome. Anyone under age 12 needs a parent to come also. We will be making pj bottoms. If you have a serger, you can bring it and use that instead of your sewing machine.

Please let us know if you need to reserve a machine. If you want to try to make the pj’s with a serger, we have a couple that you can use.
Don’t forget to R.S.V.P. so we have enough food for dinner.

Thanks, Maudie

Hello ladies! It’s me again! I just want tell you all, we had soooo much fun at our mother/daughter night. Some ladies said it was their favorite one. It was fun to see all the mothers and daughters working together to make cute little purses. You ladies are so creative! We had so many different types of straps for the purse that it was amazing. Oh, and the flip flops were so dang cute! We were also able to take pictures in our professional studio that was set up by Donetta and Rod. Thank you ladies for coming. And I’m glad you had fun because that’s what this is all about!

Let me tell you what we’re doing this week. We’re going to finish the beach bags. Now remember, if you didn’t get a chance to start on one, and you want to make one, come this week and we’ll help you get started.

Also, some people have been asking us if we teach basic sewing lessons. Well I’m excited to tell you all THAT WE ARE! Yay! Richard came up with an awesome idea: Basic Sewing 101 with Richard (one of the owners.) Yes, that’s right! Richard is going to learn how to sew! So come on over and learn with him. It’ll be very fun! It’s part of Sew Whatever with your Frendz Club during “open sew” on the last Wednesday of each month. It will be held upstairs in the classroom for ages twelve and up (under twelve must be accompanied by an adult). The cost will still be $8 per person. You will be learning how to make basic pajama bottoms first. Keep reading below for the supply list. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. So R.S.V.P. to reserve your spot.

Remember, everyone is welcome!
