Bernina Version 6.0 Software Review

I was so excited to finally get my hands on the New Bernina Version 6.0 Embroidery Software. 
This software is a must have upgrade for all Bernina Version 4.0 or 5.0 Users, and a great add-on for any
Embroidery Machine owner.   There are many compelling features in this software.   My favorite New feature of
Bernina Version 6.0 has to be the addition of CorelDraw Essentials 4 as a Integrated part of
Bernina Version 6.0.

Advanced color wheel allows you to preview and select custom designs
Automatic digitizing helps you turn artwork into embroidery

The software adds many other tools to simplify digitizing and give lots of new fonts, embroidery fills and
cut outs that I was amazed to see. The newest version has a new look and feel but it remains uniform
enough that prior version owners won’t be completely lost.

    So, what changes for the Editor + users? Will it really worth my while since I am not a digitizer and have no plans to do so? Any idea ( I am hearing 499.00 again!) on the cost?

    Thanks for the information and preview of V6 What will the price be if we are current owners of the full V5 Designer software. I see that on Bernina’s website they have posted an upgrade price of $299, if you bought the software recently. Surely Bernina is not going to give us a boot and charge the longer time owner/ user more? After all all other software of significance will offer their registered owners a fair and comprable upgrade price.
    Thanks for any info that you might have for us devoted and loyal Bernina owners.

    Retail price of the upgrade is listed the same as the V5 upgrade price, we are unable to list prices on this site. That said this upgrade is the easily the most compelling upgrade to date.

    I would say yes. Editor Plus will still add the corel draw essentials, which to me is my favorite addition.

    I visited the Bernina site and could not find a posted price of $299. I would preorder this version in a heartbeat at that price. I too have kept current with the new software versions as they were introduced. Care to share where you saw that posted price?
