Greetings!

Posted by admin On June - 16 - 2009

Hello ladies! It’s me again!  I just want tell you all, we had soooo much fun at our mother/daughter night.  Some ladies said it was their favorite one.  It was fun to see all the mothers and daughters working together to make cute little purses.  You ladies are so creative!  We had so many different types of straps for the purse that it was amazing.  Oh, and the flip flops were so dang cute!  We were also able to take pictures in our professional studio that was set up by Donetta and Rod.  Thank you ladies for coming.  And I’m glad you had fun because that’s what this is all about!

Let me tell you what we’re doing this week.  We’re going to finish the beach bags.  Now remember, if you didn’t get a chance to start on one, and you want to make one, come this week and we’ll help you get started.

Also, some people have been asking us if we teach basic sewing  lessons. Well I’m excited to tell you all THAT WE ARE!  Yay!  Richard came up with an awesome idea:  Basic Sewing 101 with Richard (one of the owners.)  Yes, that’s right!  Richard is going to learn how to sew!  So come on over and learn with him. It’ll be very fun! It’s part of Sew Whatever with your Frendz Club during “open sew” on the last Wednesday of each month.  It will be held upstairs in the classroom for ages twelve and up (under twelve must be accompanied by an adult).   The cost will still be $8 per person.  You will be learning how to make basic pajama bottoms first.  Keep reading below for the supply list.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call.  So R.S.V.P. to reserve your spot.

Remember, everyone is welcome!

Pajama Party

Dear Customers,
I hope you will join us for an opportunity to learn to sew some really fun projects.  I am excited to learn to make some pj’s.  I can’t wait to get the project going.  I am also excited because we are going to use the serger along with the sewing machine to make them look really professional.  A pattern for women’s pajama pants is available at Dave’s Bernina.  See you in class!  Richard Borget
